 Let's introduce Nema!

Nima is an African name meaning "found blessing" . Nima certainly is a found blessing. He is an unusual dog with a Lavender (Petfinder does not list lavender) Merle coat and a patient and peaceful disposition.

Nima is young - only about 1.5 years- and likes to play with other dogs. He resists getting in little scrapes and at the dog park appears to be the 'peace keeper'. He is so friendly and when not playing , likes the lap. He walks very nicely on a leash and likes to go for walks. He would be a good dog with children or adults.

We do not know what his mix is other than his mama - also in rescue but not listed yet - is a chihuahua. His Merle coat comes form his mama and another merled  dog guessing a heeler or cur.  He is up to date on his vaccines, altered and microchipped. Ready for his new home!

 Hi everyone

This is little Bitsy and he is too cute. Bitsy is an Apple head Chihuahua and came in with his little friend Mouse. Bitsy is from a high kill shelter in North Florida. All we know about Bitsy is that he was owned by an elderly person or persons.

Bitsy likes to play a little bit. He likes his little toys. Bitsy is not much for going for walks and being on the leash although he is young - only about 5 years - Bitsy can learn. He loves to keep his important person within eyesight at all times like most good Apple Head chihuahuas. His favorite spot though is right on your lap

Bitsy did enjoy the dog park and the other dogs. He rarely barks but did in the park. He does like to sing though and is a great alarm clock around 7 am. Bitsy is up to date on all vaccines, altered and microchipped. He is ready for that forever home

Nealy is playful and energetic. He likes to go out and play , he likes rides and walks and enjoys being with his family. he is shy of strangers but accepts you when approached gently.

Nealy is house trained and uses the potty pads as well. He is fully vaccinated , altered and  microchipped for life.

Hi Guys My name is Bear because I look like a cute little brown bear. I was saved from a kill shelter in central Florida. I am about 3 years of age and weigh a mere 6 -7 pounds and I am a wee bit on the overweight side. I gained my weight while recuperating from heartworm disease. I have been treated and am now able to be outside the crate that I lived in for almost 6 months. I will get my next check in a month. Other than that , I am healthy and up to date on vaccines. I still have some issues with potty training - I am still learning but do use potty pads. I am a little afraid of being outside as I was crated for so long. I like to play and give lots of kisses and love. I like to sit on the lap and lay next to my best foster friend. I would really like to try to get that furever home - how about it?  Hi , my name is Baxter! Let me tell you first - I love kids. I'm told we get lots of applications for a small dog that likes kids and that is really me! I am a Chihuahua /Pomeranian mix and have the papers to prove it. I am such a great little boy - I am potty trained, affectionaitte, I like to lick faces, I like to sit on laps, I am crate trained and I like to walk on a leash, OH and I forgot - I like to play with toys, people and other dogs. I don't mind cats - they confuse me a little. I do not like collars or harnesses but understand now that if I get to go on a walk, I have to have those things on. I am almost perfect. Up to date on all vaccines, on heartworm prevention, altered and dental needs met. I did get a hot spot and occasionally that might happen so please no corn in my food. I am on Flea prevention and have a microchip. To adopt you must submit an application. Applications may be obtained by emailing us at: Megan at bonoball@tampabay.rr.com or by calling 727-423-0226. Princess is part of a Bonded pair Hi Guys and Gals My name is Princess and I am a small Chihuahua. I love people and going to events and I love my stroller. You see - I am a 'abled' dog in a different way. I walk on my knees on the front legs and my ankles on my back legs. I have a degenerative bone disease that I am ok with. I went to several doctors- even the best in Tampa- and they all agree that I am a happy little dog that is not in pain and there is little they can do for me. I get around fine for short walks and my foster mom made little caps for my legs so I do very well. I will need extra care in my new home and I must insist on my partner SNOOPY staying with me and being adopted with me! I am up to date on all my vaccines, chipped and altered. visit our website at www.limbochihuahuas.yolasite.com to adopt and fill out an application or contact: Applications may be obtained by emailing us at: Megan at bonoball@tampabay.rr.com or by calling 727-423-0226. Meet Chico. Meet Chico - a "true blue Chihuahua" . Chico is a sassy 7 pound Chihauhua who has a long and lean body. Chico is a variation of Chihuahua called a deer head and some say the true Chihuahua. Chico likes to play with his toys and loves to go for walks. He is very affectionaitte to the person who is his owner. Chico is very protective and very territorial, which has made adoption difficult. While most people are turned off by Chico's apparent unconcern when they first meet, he has shown that he can become attatched ot others when the foster mom is not with him. Chico will be a devoted Chihuahua to any adoptor. Chico is up to date on his vaccines, neutered and HW negative and on prevention. Chico has a heart murmur which is common to Chihuahuas. He is on two inexpensive medications for this. Chico is house broken but does mark when other male dogs are present or have been present. Chico was surrendered originally to CRT and came form a backyard breeder. Chico is 7 years. To adopt you must submit an application.  Meet Lou Lou!

Lou Lou is a cutie patutie at 6.8 pounds and barely 3 years

Lou Lou is talkative and energetic and likes to play although he can be shy when first meeting him

Lou Lou is affectionaitte and loves to give little kisses.  Lou likes to walk on a leash, go to the dog park and play with his little toys.

Lou Lou has come a very long way. He was owned by a hoarder who kept him in a crate without much affection or attention. He was found when the house was being cleaned and was saved by a nephew.

Lou had many health and behavioral problems when he came. He had little fur and and a staff infection. This condition was made worse because he was not used to being held and would not leave his crate.

Today we have a different Lou. He jumps up on the lap to give his kisses to his foster mama. He comes when called and loves to be with people. He goes outside independently and does potty outside and on puppy pads. He plays with the other dogs and with his toys and is so social at the doggie park. Lou uses the crate as he should - to take a nap only. These are only a few of the accomplishments this awesome little fellow has made.

Lou is up to date on all vaccines, altered and chipped for life.

Lou has come a long way and we are so proud of our little Lou. Now - he needs a wonderful home to share his success with. I dare say - Lou might even be good with children around the age of 8 and above. He is so wonderful and deserves the best. Are you the Best for Lou
